Your gym owns its data. This page explains what we hold, where it lives, and how you stay in control of it.
Ownership
The data your gym and its members create on GyMap belongs to your gym. We process it to provide the service and never sell it.
What we store
Member profiles, workout plans and logs, body metrics and progress photos, fitness test scores, equipment and event content, and shop products and orders, all scoped to your gym.
Where it lives
Data is hosted on managed cloud infrastructure with automated backups. Media is stored in private storage and served via signed links.
Export & deletion
You can request an export of your gym's data at any time, and members can request access to or deletion of their personal data. We action deletion requests promptly, subject to any legal retention requirements.
Portability
Because GyMap is built on open, standard infrastructure, your data is never locked in. We'll help you take it with you if you ever leave.
